Day 02: Delhi to Jaipur
|
| After breakfast, enjoy a combined tour of Old and New Delhi. The tour includes visiting the Raj Ghat and Jamma Mosque which is the biggest mosque in India. Drive past the Red Fort, India Gate, Parliament House Presidential Palace, Diplomatic areas and also visit Qutub Minar. After lunch move to Jaipur by road. |

Day 03: Jaipur
|
| Jaipur is a blaze of brilliant colours and pulsating life. Our morning tour takes us to Amber Fort. Enroute pass by Hawa Mahal. It was built in 1790, by Pratap Sing and was a Royal Grandstand for Palace Women. Later visit Amber Fort and the old capital of Jaipur rulers. If available, enjoy an elephant ride up to Amber Fort. Otherwise you will travel by road by vehicles that are provided. Visit City Palace and Jantar Mantar, an indigenous method used in ancient times to know the hour of the day bythe help of Sun location. Later drive through the pink city. ou can enjoy the shopping in Jaipur as it is famous for its Gems |

Day 04 : Jaipur to Agra
|
| After breakfast drive to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri, built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 to commemorate the birth of his son. It is now deserted and is still in perfect preservation. Continue to drive to Agra and transfer to hotel for overnight stay. |

Day 05: Agra
|
| After Breakfast visit the world famous Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. The construction took 22 years to be complete with 20 thousand workers. Also visit the Agra Fort, a red sandstone Fort built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 and completed by Shah Jahan. Later visit the Marble Factory. |

Day 06: Agra - Jhansi - Orcha - Kajuraho
|
After breakfast tranfer to railway station to board a morning Shatabdi express train to Jhansi. You will meet our local guide upon arrival and will move to Orcha by road. Visit this beautiful medieval town, once the capital of Bundela Kings, built along the banks of river Bewta, flowing through a rugged coutnry side. It still retains the captivating air by bygone era. Amoungst the various imposng edifices of particular interst are the Jehangiri Mahal built by Raja Bir Sing Deo to commemorate the visit of Mughal Emperor Jehangir. The Raj Mahal and Lakshmi Narayan temple are both noted for their fine frescos and mural paintings. Later drive to Khajauraho

Day 07: Khajuraho to Varanasi
|
| Morning, begin sightseeing tour of famous Chandela dynasty temples in a lovely grassy park. The devine sculptures in these temples are a tribute to life itself. The temples are quite amazing, rising in many peaks and siprals, intricately carved and designed with statues and friezes. Some of which are unowned erotic carvings. Later transfer to airport for flight to Varanasi, the holiest city in India and one of the oldest living cities in the world. It has served not only as a holy centre of pilgrimage but also a seat of great Hindu learning and culture |

Day 08: Varanasii
|
| Early morning boat ride on river Ganges exposes one to some of the carefree colourful and levered aspects of Hindu Life. As the sun ruses over the far hanks, the Ghats come alive with ritual Hindu worship and sounds of temple bells. Walk through the narrow lanes, past the gold plated Vishwanath Temple. After lunch, dirve to Samath about 10kms, where Buddha preached his first Sermon after becoming enlightened. The great Emperor Ashoka erected magnificient stupas and monasteries here, which are now in ruins. Beside Dhamek Stupa, Sarnath also has ruins of Dhamajajika Stupa, Dhaimok Stupa. At Sarnath smooth glistening stone pillar called Ashoka pillar. On the top of his pillar is now the National Emblem of India. Many ruins survived including a shrine built by the great emperor Ashoka. A mordern Sri Lankan temple containing Japanese Buddhist paintings also exist. Evening return to Varanasi. |

Day 09: Varanasi to Delhi and back to Singapore
|
| After breakfast, tour Varanasi. Visit the Bharat Mata Temple, Durga temple, Emperor Aurangazeb Mosque, Tulsi Manas, sacred Bull. Drive past the famous Banaras Hindu University with its marble Shiv Temple. Also stops will be made along the busy shopping streets for you to buy Banaras famous silk products, carpets and other handicrafts. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for domestic flight to Delhi. On arrival transfer to Connaught Circus for personal activities and shopping. Evening farewell dinner befoer tranfering to international airport for your flight back to Singapore. Next day arrive in Singapore. |
