SINGAPORE - KATHMANDU
Transferred to the hotel. Visiting the 2000 years old Swoyambhunath Stupa, also known as the monkey temple which offers a marvelous view of Kathmandu Valley. Next destination is Patan, the oldest and second largest of the three cities in Kathmandu valley. Enroute, stop at a Tibetan carpet factory where you can see the process of weaving of Tibetan carpets. Drive back to hotel.. |

KATHMANDU - NAGARKOT
After breakfast drive to famous Durbar Square of Kathmandu dominated by Siva temple where the "Living Goddess" overlooks the square from the south. After this proceed to Nagarkot which is at a height of 2300 m above sea level which commands a classic panorama of the Himalayan ranges. You can see from here many major peaks of the Himalayas, like Langtang, Langtang-lirung, Chobha bhamre, Amadablam, Dorje Lhakpa, Gaurishankar and many peaks of the Himalaya, including Mt. Everest on a clear day. From here you can catch excellent view of sunset and sunrise. |

NAGARKOT - KATHMANDU
Wake up early morning to catch the sunrise and beautiful view of Himalayan panorama. Sightseeing tour of the most important sites. After lunch, visit Kirtipur for sight seeing tour which is one of the oldest town in Kathmandu valley and hosts a few Buddhists sites both old & new. Cilancho Stupa is of historic importance. A Bihar has been made in Kirtipur, which contain the miniature sites representing Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha, Boudhgaya where Buddha got enlightment, Saranath where Buddha gave his first teaching and Kushinagar where Buddha passed away. Above Chobhar in Kirtipur, see the temple of Adinath. After Kirtipur visit Chobhar Gorge, the Gorge cut by Manjushree to let the water of Kathmandu flow out of the valley is visible here. After Sightseeing, proceed to Nagarkot at 2300 m above sea level. Then drive back to Kathmandu. |
